3500 hub caps?

I purchased a hub cap off a dually on ebay. It does not fit my 2001. The seller said it came off an older dually front. It looks like the back one on my truck but the inside does not have lug nut grippers, it has a ring of some kind. Does anyone know when they changed styles?? What will this one fit.
