Any tricks to drilling chrome bumper?

Installed my back up sensor & mounted the sensors on my towing bracket for the time being ,not real happy with their location & thought of mounting them in the bumper like the new fords,& was wandering if there is a trick to prevent the chrome from chipping of flaking off whilst drilling,if indeed it has that tendency to do so.Never drilled chromed metal before. Thanks for any advice.Ian
