Fuel pressure guage recomendations

I need some input from the different setups out there. I purchased the nordskog digital guage, but it doesnt read anything but 1psi. I tapped off the bottom of the fuel filter with ray's banjobolt. I just think I got the wrong gauge and sender unit because when I test the pressure at the vp 44 w/ another manual gueage everything reads normal.

Now,
I am looking to go another route to install a permanent gauge & just want to know what would be the eaisest and best. Here is what I was considering; Going with a 30psi boost guage and tapping it off the bottom of the fuel filter, but I wasnt sure if that would be suitable using the smaller nylon hose. Anyone out there doing that? I believe some are, but wasnt sure if that is really accurate & how well hte guage reads. Ideas?

The other way is to purchace the 0-15 psi fuel pressure guage from autometer. I know its a lil low, but I figure it would do the trick. There is 2 different ways to run it, one via a isolator and the other straight off the fuel filter into the cab. My question there is, which works best & will I have enough room to mount all that on my steering colum. I have the autometer gauge pod for there, but I wasnt sure if the fuel lines would fit down through.

All feedback is appreciated.

Thanx

Cole
