Instant 2-3 mpg increase!

I was in camp working for 2 weeks while my wife was using my truck. She must have been driving it quite responsibly. I think this is because she knows how much I love my truck, and she has already piled it into the ditch twice this winter, Anyways she ended up with 17.2 mpg! Now this is nothing that great, but I am always in the mid 14's for mpg.

So being the typical man, thinking I can beat that I drove like a granny, which is terrible by the way, and yeilded 16.8 mpg. I don't even get that driving on the highway in the summer on summer fuel! These were city/highway miles by the way.

This is not new news to anyone, just thought I would pass along that good fuel mileage is possible for me but at the expense of having NO fun.
