Man I couldnt believe it

I had a problem with my tire holding air so I replaced the valve stem and looked the tire over real good and no nails or anything well I came out one morning and she was flat as a doornail and I aired it up and thats when I discovered that the alum rim had a crack in it I couldnt believe it. I never beat on my truck at all, I took it to the dealer and they are ordering me a new rim but how cheap are these rims? Has anyone had this happen to them thanks alot!
