Dodge Tailgate Emblem/Salt Lake Meet

I was considering taking off the "Dodge" decal letters on the tail gate of my new truck. I already peeled the dealers name off of the back. (What nerve they have....) Has anybody tried this with the Dodge decal without damaging the paint and if so, how did you get it off? My truck is new so I don't think that there will be any color variation under the decals yet. Any advice will be appreciated.
