Which Radio with Which Speakers

Help me out guys...
Want to replace the factory radio/cassette with a factory cd model. Preferrably am/fm cassette/CD and if it had changer controls too that would be a plus. I have the stock unamplified speakers. It seems some radios require the amplified speakers (which I might purchase) and some don't. There are many of these units on Ebay. I have heard stories where the seller says you don't need the speaker amps and the buyer finds out later that he does. I don't want to get cought up in this. If anyone can give me a list of which radios (RBR..etc.) require amps and which don't, I would really appreciate it. I hear the CD/Cassete combos don't need amps but I am not sure.
