Power Steering Pump is Leaking
My 2002 w/ 40k is leaking power steering fluid. Before the 36k warranty was up I went in with wandering problems, and the steering gear box was replaced. A few days later i noticed the P.S. pump leaking. The bottom half of the pump (front and back) is wet and covered in fluid. Is this something that I can put new seals in, or does the entire assembly need to be replaced? Could they have caused the problem by removing the hydraulic hoses, and not reinstalling them correctly? I just looked at the service manual, but could not find a breakdown of the pump.
Thanks
