TPS, cruise control and TC controller

I'm having several problems ...

...Climbing a hill, empty, @ 55, I press the pedal a bit further and the tranny locks and unlocks the TC

...Cruise control works fine till i step on the brake and then it turns off (no light) and won't turn on again till i restart the truck

...My ATS TC controller no longer works

Is it possible all these are related? Should i replace the TPS? ($234.00 from my dealer!)
