Replacement Shocks for C&C

My truck is now approaching 60,000 miles and I've been thinking of new Bilstein shocks. Last time I was out with the trailer loaded the rear end rebounded a little more than was comfortable over some pavement dips. I'm a believer in Bilsteins for the Dodge Ram platform. I installed them on both my previous Rams at around 60k miles and never wore them out on either truck.

I wasn't sure what to order. My C&C is a 2wd but from appearance only I was guessing that it uses the same rear shocks as a 2wd dually pickup and the front shocks from a 3500 4x4. The entire front end assembly is from a standard 4x4 Ram w/o axle shafts or ring and pinion.

I couldn't get answers anywhere so turned to Robin Patton, proprietor of Geno's Garage. Robin came through for me as she always does. (Thanks, Robin) Robin e-mailed a senior official at Bilstein and got an immediate reply which she forwarded to me this afternoon.

The 3500 2wd C&C uses the same rear shocks as all 2wd '03 - '09 Rams and the same front shocks as 4x4 '03 - '09 Rams. I haven't read it on a chart but would bet the 4500/5500s also use the same shock as my 3500.

I'm ordering them on Geno's website tonight.
