ARE questions.

I bought a standard ARE setup from an ebay seller. I suppose I need to add a pre-filter. Any suggestions on which prefillter to get? Also I'm confused about the "torque tube". Is it just a bigger tube from the air filter to the turbo inlet? Reasonably, that could improve top rpm horsepower, but I don't see what else it has to offer. And lastly, exactly what route does the air take from in front of the truck to the air box? I see it going through the inside fender but can't follow its route from there. The reason I ask is that an e-bay seller is marketing a plastic scoop that directs cool air behind the grille and in front of the radiator to the left of the radiator. But I don't see any duct work from the air box to the left of the radiator. The air path sure was a lot more straight-forward on my 89 and my 94!
