Fish Eyes on Trailer Towing Mirrors

The fish eyes on the Trailer Towing Mirrors are located in the wrong corner of the mirror. I would like to rotate the mirrors 180 degree to get the fish eyes located in the top inside corner. The botton outside corner is needed to see the tires of the trailer. Has anyone ever attempted such a modification? Any comments would be appreciated.
