Is it easy to add a power plug to the console?

I thought I was living large using the cig lighter to power my radar detector and the 2nd power plug for the CB. Then I took a trip over the weekend and realized I needed one more power source to charge my cell phone. My truck didn't come with the 3rd power plug inside the console. How tough is it to add aftermarket? Is it just something that snaps in and connects to an existing quick connector, or will I have to wire in a circuit? Thanks.
