Almost 30,000 Manual Tranny fluid.. whats the best as of today?

Hey, well, I have nearly reached 30,000 on my 04.5. Shifting has been awesome so far. Want to change the Manual Tranny fluid. What is currently the best stuff? I did a search and some of the posts are from quite some time ago. Syncromesh, Redline, etc. were all listed. Also, how hard is it to change???? W/O having to look in owners manual, how many qts will I need? Thanks! I plan on stopping on the way home to get some.
