'05 brake controller pigtail plug location

I have an '05 3500 with the factory tow package. I have the knee bolster off and am trying to install my brake smart. I can not find the factory receptacle for the wire harness anywhere. In the factory harness that came with the truck it says it is to the left of the column by the big bracket, no luck.

Any help is appreciated!
