New Dodge 6500 Medium Duty

OK now since Y'all looked
Point is why is it taking Daimler Chrysler to produce one.
Since Daimler Benz is the key player you would think it would be almost a given.
When it comes to commercial vehicles, Daimler Benz has had a excellent track record.
They own Freightliner, Unimog, just to name a few big truck Mfg and a base for several RV Manufactures.
Here is what I would like to see:
A frame based on a medium duty Freightliner for 2 wheel drive and Unimog for 4 wheel drive
Optional styles of automatic & Manual Transmissions.
Exhaust brakes & provisions for multiple trailer hitch combinations.
A extended cap and or a 4 door.
8+ liters & 400HP
2WD and 4WD options
Optional Hi-Low and locking differentials
22.5 wheels
Various optional bed options and even a P/Up bed like the new International XT series (which is a joke)
A payload of 4 tons and towing of 30K+
Good / quiet drivability at cruising speeds.
Lots of usable storage under all that flashy skin.

Yes it will not sell like a 2500/3500 but for the person who needs a bit more out of a truck besides a plush inside with DVD and more of a workhorse to keep the Dodge Cummins heritage alive.

Dreaming of a real big truck.
