Exhaust brake for an 04.5 on an early 04

I have an early 04 3500 with a six speed and I want to put a factory jacobs exhaust brake on it. I want to put an 04.5 exhaust brake on, for the 4" outlet so I can run 4" exhaust all the way out the back. Early 04 had a 3.5" outlet.

With all my research, I have found that it should fit mechanically. Has anyone done this install. I am concerned that the electrical will be different. Any help would be appreciated!!
