Tire rotation

Time to rotate the tires on my '05 3500 DRW and I'm trying to come up with
a game plan that will enable each tire to eventually play in every position and
also put the spare into the game. It bothers me to have the spare sitting on
the bench, never being used! Here is what I've come up with.

Left front to Inner right rear
Inner right rear to Outer right rear
Outer right rear to Spare
Spare to Inner left rear
Inner left rear to Outer left rear
Outer left rear to Right front
Right front to Left front

Repeat every three to four thousand miles.
I would welcome/appreciate opinions.
