Fuel lines for FP gauge

Do you need to put any type of sealant on the threads for the fp gauge? I ordered a tapped banjo bolt and a rubber fuel line from Geno's and was wondering if the tapered fitings on the hose need sealant. I was under the immpression that diesel is pretty tough on teflon tape, and I'm not sure of what else to use.
