Stock radio problems

I have a 2006 SLT 2500 with the stock radio, the one with 6 disc mp3 and cassette player; when I pass through a bump on the road the radio and the overhead console go off, I mean all the lights and radio turns off for a second or two.

Any experience with this issue?

I'm gonna take it to the dealer on Monday but just want to know if this is a common problem on the 3rd gen trucks?
