This is for those of you who've dropped your tank to do the fuel vent mod or FASS install or whatever. How the heck do you remove the fuel clips? And how low can I drop the tank? I'd like to take the strap bolts off all the way and lower it with a jack, but I'm afraid I'd damage a fuel line...?. I've got an 05' shortbed. I can't get my head up between the driveshaft and the tank to see what I'm doing. From the rear wheelwell, I can see but can only get one hand on the fitting, then I can't really see much after that. And tips/tricks will be appreciated greatly.
BTW- I have the fass instructions and the vent mod instructions, but unless my arms and hands and head shrinks, I can't see me doing this on my own.
