Tranny question ???

Just got my '06 the other day. I test drove the automatics and didn't like them. I've had 97,00,03 rams 5 and 6 speeds. have had my share of problems. In fact went through 2 nv5600 on my '03. I pull a 40' cargo trailer most of the time. I'm tierd of shifting so I thought about the auto's and got out of that pretty quick, it felt like it slipped. maybe I wasn't use to it. But I decided to go with the 6 speed again, so how's the g-56 holding up? Better then the nv5600 I hope?
