How can an 06 used be more than a new one?

Just went to the local 5 star dealer and they had an 06 4x4 SLT for $35k 5000 miles and said it was as low as they could go maybe 34.5k. But they would sell me the same truck option for option new for 34.5k

What gives? I was thinking maybe 30 to 33 for the used one but not more than a new one
