front driveshaft u-joints

any tips or tricks to greasing the double joint ( Iforget the proper name) zerk. Mine took grease the first 3 times no problem, the last two not so much!!!!!!! Any ideas would be apreciated(sp?) I'm trying to avoid the dealership if possible because they are not the easiest to deal with. ( the truck is box stock) Thank you for any and all input/ IT,S AN 05 4X4 QCSB 2500
