different size spare?

I was wondering what would happen if I had to use my stock size spare with my 245 19.5's in the event I have a tire go down. Granted, it would be fixed as soon as possible. If it was a front tire that was flat, would swap a front and rear to keep both fronts the same size. Really dont want to spend $500 on a 19.5 tire and wheel spare if a 265-70-17 will work in an emergency.
