Regretting the MegaCab?
When I ordered my Quad cab last year, I had convinced myself that it was the only way to go. It offered less turning radius than the megacab, additional ground clearance to lessen the chance of high-centering offroad, would be easier to manipulate in parking lots for daily driving, and the cab/bed ratio made the truck look more proportioned.
However, after almost a year with the quad cab, I realized that the marginal offroad advantage probably hasn't helped me much, and that I use the truck far more for long trips than I do for daily grocery store commutes...and recently, there's been many times I wish I had the extra room in the rear.
Have any of you with a megacab wish you would have gone with a quad cab instead? If so, for what reasons? I love my truck, but am trying to determine if trading for the mega is worth the effort... Thanks! Eric
