Clicking noise in brakes

I have a 03 4wd quad LB with 75000 miles Recently when stopping I hear a clicking noise that slows down as truck speed slows No brake application no noise It also goes away when in 4wd Checked the ujoints but nothing obvious Any ideas? thanks Craig
