leaving behind the 12 Valve...need advice on 2004 CTD

Well I believe its time to get rid of my 1997 12 valve with 260K miles....buying a 04 2500, 4WD with 116K miles.

Anything to be aware of? I have been in 12V land for years....

Anyone got advice? I need to lift it or level it and put some 35's on it. Anyone got pics of anything similar?
