Shocks

Decided to make my own post so as not to hijack Lorenz's thread....

Dumb question but the eyes on all shocks swivel, correct?

Also, does anyone know travel range on a stock Dodge 2500 4x4?

How does valving work? What do the numbers mean? Compression and rebound? How is it measured? What should I look for in valving to be just better than stock? I don't off-road.

Thanks, Nick
