Fluid Shelf Life.................

I bought 12 quarts of the AMSOIL ATF for use in my 06 Manual trans and also to use in the transfer case, etc of my 02. I have 6 quarts left and it looks like it might be a few months before I need to change the trans fluid again. Will it hurt the fluid to sit in my garage for a while???? Thanks!!
