2005 Interior Trim disassembly

I own a 2005 Ram 2500 4x4 Diesel. I want to take the trim piece off that surrounds radio, heater controls, and cubby hole. It is the piece that has the little "goose-bumps" appearance. I intend to paint it to match the exterior. It looks like it would just pry out but it doesn't seem to want to budge. I thought I would ask on here before I broke something.
