Muffler? Which One?

I recently purchased a Magnaflow muffler for my 2003 CTD on ebay. After I received it, I went down to my local auto shop to have it installed. The shop told me that it would not work on my truck because it was designed for earlier model Diesel trucks with a "straight through" design and would require additional work to have it installed.

I sold the Magnaflow to a friend, and took a small loss, but I need help as to which type of muffler will work on my 2003. I do not want to replace the whole system just the muffler. What I would like to have is a deep rich tone that is not offensive but has a good rumble to it.

Any suggestions from the group would be great. Thanks!
