Replacement radio for my 2003?

I have the AM/FM, 6cd radio in my "03. (As most of you would know, it does not have provisions for external input(s).
On the driver's side of the radio I have mounted a Delphi MiFi portable XM radio. I listen to XM satellite radio via a FM signal from the MiFi unit. That works out pretty good.
Now, I would like to mount a GPS receiver where I now have the MiFi. One way to make room for the GPS receiver would be to replace the factory radio and the MiFi receiver with a radio that has XM built in.
Here are some features I would want:
1. Be able to use the existing steering wheel radio controls.
2. Show time-of-day without having to push a button (I looked at a Kenwood receiver that required a push of a button to see the time. This may sound like a silly want, but I do want to have the clock feature).
3. Hopefully the receiver would have an extra input for an Ipod signal, but this is not real important to me.
By the way, I want XM rather than Sirius because only XM carries MLB baseball games.
(Note: I do not want to mount anything on the passenger side of the radio. It might become a projectile if ever the passenger side airbag went off.)

Any suggestions?
Thanx,
Glenn
