Replace Drivers side mirror

Does anyone have any insight on how to remove the entire drivers' side mirror assembly on an 05? It is heated/powered if that matters. I got hit and it got pretty messed up and the dealer wants $100 in labor to replace it, not to mention $404 for the mirror....

On that note, anyone know where to get a mirror for less than $404?
