Is Your Shop Honest???

got a nice letter in the mail not to long ago and thought I'd share it with you. The DMV suspended my registration on my truck for not being reinspected after being ticket for no headlight on passenger side. It would seem a shop i sent my truck out to took my vehicle out for a test drive around town and got pulled over by the local sheriff. The shop owner who told me about his experience but failed to mention or present me with the Repair Order given to him by them sheriff department. So I got a letter not too long ago informing me that they suspended registration on my truck for this matter. I am not naming the shop as I will buy parts from them still. Be careful who you send your truck to. you may have used the shop several times and trusted the people and liked them as friends but they still may end up doing this to you too. lesson learnt dont send your truck to any type of shop diesel performance shop or not with modifications that you can be ticketed and or writen a repair order for. it only takes the shop owner or tech doing something stupid in front of a cop or a cop having a bad day to have your registration suspended on your truck too. if you have a lift kit on your truck that does not meet your states requirements and have to drop it back down to stock height on a truck you had to cut brackets off the frame or axle how much fun will it be to try to pass state inspection or sell your truck???
