Thinking of selling '03 QC for '06 Megacab

Kids are growing and complaining about the rear seats during long trips. I have found a '06 Megacab SLT 4x4 DRW with 23K; dealer will sell for $32,000 plus ttl. I called two different dealers to run the vin# and found the truck has been in for repairs twice. The first time was for a complete tranny overhaul, the second was for a rear shock replacement. The truck supposedly had less than 900 miles when the tranny went south. Although he did not go into a whole lot of detail, the service guy did say there were major flaws with the transmission build; and yes, the truck was built in Mexico. Outside of this, it has been serviced (oil and lube) every 5K miles at the dealer and the truck is in good-to-excellent shape (just wish it had leather).

I have been quoted $14-15,000 for my truck at a couple of dealers prior to me finding this '06. Although I have 140K on the odometer, the truck still runs well and I have been very pleased with it. The only problems I've encountered is keeping the front end together (tie-rods, ball joints, trackbar, etc.). In comparison, there are things I like and dislike between the '03 and '06, and I would be willing to compromise for the sake of the kids.

Any thoughts on the selling price or trade in allowance, or, integrity issues with the '06?
