Liscense Plate Light Bulb

I have a liscense plate bulb burned out and was trying to figure out how to access the bulb I see no screws in the lense and wasn't sure if I should just try to pop the socket off the back of the housing.

I don't want to break something and end up having to replacing more then the bulb, can someone give me some guidance here.
