Who has done 3k lbs in the bed long haul?

I've got a 2500 turned into a dually, so because of the extra training wheels in the back the tires shouldn't be the limiting factor.

What I'm worried about is the spring pack - I don't have the 3500 overload springs.

I ordered and tried to install airbags but due to clearance issues with MBRP duals I won't get them in for the trip this Monday. I'll need to go without airbags.

So.....who has done 3k lbs in the bed for long hauls??? How did it handle?

I've had 4200 lbs (1 cube of pavers) in the back but that was short distance locally at slow speeds. It sat low but did it.
