08 AC Recirculate Issue

Hi Guys:

Got hot in Portland today and turned on my AC, switched to recirculate and it sounds like an F-4 is taking off in my dash! Really; when I switch to recirculate, the fan sound goes from normal to a sound like there is a big disturbance in the airflow and the air pressure coming out the vents goes down somewhat. I tried to cycle the recirculate switch several times, no change.

This happening to anyone else?
