FPPF Total Power....NFG for 2008???

Hello, i just picked up a 2008 5500C/C and dealer and i were discuss anti-gel products. He stated that Dodge recommends using Howes fuel treatment . I've been using FPPF Total Power in my 99 5.9 since new and have three gallons left in storage. He told me to look into the description and check if it is a "solvent". Anybody using this additive or was i mis-informed??
