Door lock problem

The driver side rear door lock on my '05 quit working. It will not work with the key fob and will not work with the door lock/unlock button. Only manual. I think my 3 year old daughter may have been messing with it (mischievous little critter). Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Thanks.
