Cleaning Plastic Chrome

Whats the best way to clean the plastic chrome grill guard, tire covers, Laramie side mouldings, bumpers, all that good stuff. Ive neglected my truck through several mag-chloride winters and the stuff looks horrible. Am I out of luck or can I bring them back from the dead.
