FASS Install

I ordered my FASS 95/95 back in December and finally got to install it this week. It only took about 6 hours from the time I started until I started the truck. If I can figure out how to post pictures I'll do it. Everything went quite smooth. Up to the "bleeding" process. I left the fitting on the CP3 a little loose to watch for the steady stream of fuel to indicate the air was purged. I did not know it would happen within seconds. I eased into the key to get the pump to stay on, no start, I released the key and pump kept going albeit at a different tone than when it started. Walked around the door, peered into the engine bay to see pretty much everything on the drivers side of the engine covered in fuel. I quick shut the key off and began the cleaning process. Did that and tightened the fitting. Hit the key and she lit immediately with no spraying fuel. However, I still see the area around the fitting as shiny as if wet. I wipe it down. a couple of seconds later it's wet again. Both the upper and lower part of the fitting are dry so I finally figure out the old fuel line is seeping out. What has everyone been doing with this line and the line back at the tank if they are leaving the OEM pieces in place????? I was going to ziplock bag them and use a tie strap to be sure they are secure. Any ideas please???
