04 totaled ,new 09 tire pressure question

3 weeks ago A drunk in a little honda drifted into my lane & hit me head on @ about 70. My truck was totaled & I got a new 09. Any way my question is the tire pressure light is on after I reduced the pressure to light load spec. I read to push the light load button,it flashes a few times & the tire light stays on.What am I doing wrong?
