E-Brake

I ordered a new truck a couple of weeks ago and have a build date of 11/01/02. The dealer has the build sequence number. Does anyone know just when the new e-brake will be available? I have one on my 98.5 and I hate to pull my trailer without one. My dealer says that he will put one on as soon as he can get one. Thanks.
