drove a new one
Well I broke down a went and drove a new one today. the steering is awesome, tranny shifts nice (I drove a 3500 qc with the 6sp HO) . The power is smooth but I know my 97 wil blow it away with its #11 tst plate. One question I have is I notice when I let up on the throttle the rpms seem slow to decrease while shifting compared to my truck anyone else notice this? Well anyways it is a great truck and as soon As i can move my wife explorer with 174,000 miles I can get a new truck and she will inherit the old 97. So until the fueling boxes are out I may have to drive the 97 to pull 12,000 pound toybox. I would hate to have a ford or chevy pass me on the pass. Wow it feels good to post on the 3g part of the site. I read it everyday to quench my thirst for that new truck. sooooon
