factory black grille and bumper strip?

I drive a oiltanker for work and every day I drive by a dodge dealer with a new 2003 fullsize heavy duty. I think it had the c on the front corner??.... Any how it has a black grille?! and I think a black strip on the chrome bumper. It is not a sport either, the truck is a white exterior,srw,qc and the black grille is a matte finish. I'm not sure what the deal is, and and since I'm in a tractor trailer I can not just pull over and check it out . Have any of you seen this before?..I thought it might be shipping plastic that protects the chrome, but it looks to good for that. Any ideas.
