The New Mistress

I got my new mistress. It's a 2003 3500 dually quad cab in a bright white coat. It has all the goodies such as HO engine, 6 speed, anti-spin 3:73, sport pack, 2BH with leather. tow mirrors and trailer tow equipment. I only had to wait 5 days for the truck to be transferred in to my dealer. I picked the truck up Friday and headed to my favorite ski hill in the Rockies. I hit almost every winter driving condition out there and I am favorably impressed with this truck. Dodge has fixed the steering. I am impressed with ride, handling and brakes. I even noticed a gain in power and mileage towards end of the trip. My only gripe is every time I open the door I get a little shot of snow in the cab. Good thing it does not snow all year. The bombing is beginning. The Jake was on back order, but showed up today and is being installed tomorrow morning. I've got my new Reese 5th. wheel but I am waiting for the mounting kit. I have ordered J/J boards.but they are on backorder also. I picked up some heavy mud flaps and iron yesterday to make rear flaps and hangers. A spray in liner is in the near future as well as a Wesbasto or Espar. I am finding the after market a little slow. I also want boost and pyrometer guages. I keep reading the posts here to see which guage set up will work, so you guys that have them in let the rest of us know your thoughts. The new quiet is very enjoyable. There is still enough sound so that there is no doubt what is under the hood. I better end this and get out to the shop and get started.
