Dual wheel spacers

Because of the difficulty of finding and only one tire size available for the dually, I have been checking into using a spacer between the dual wheels. There are several manufactures that make a series E in the 265 size. I've heard pro and con. How bout it? I pull a long, heavy gooseneck.
