5" sounds like @#$

I installed my 5" exhaust its to loud (booom). jon at citymuffler is sending me another muffler. he says this is going to quite it down. it seems that i lost hp with the 5". is this a common feeling on a stock truck with 5 inch? but i will be glad i did it when i get the juice on right? egts will not get above 1000 now
